October in December?

I decided to backtrack a bit today. We had Grandma Janet and Aunt Liz come and visit us in October and had so much fun so I thought I would share some pics and tell you a bit about our fun times! :)

Chucke Cheese for Nathan's Birthday! The boys had so much fun :)

We also went to an apple orchard/pumpkin patch!

Grandma and T on the hay ride :)

Daddy caught a chicken!  The boys loved it!

Kids Do The Darndest Things :)

So, this morning William comes in my room at 7:30 and says "Mommy? You know that special stuff you put on your cereal when you were little? Well I put some on my cereal and it tastes gross!" So I told him that we would go downstairs and figure out what was going on.

I have three canisters on the kitchen counter one has sugar in it and the others have flour and pancake mix. Can you guess which one I used to put on my Rice Krispies when I was a little girl? And can you guess which one Will put on his cereal?

I showed William the sugar and found out that he did not put sugar on his rice krispies this morning but FLOUR! Hahaha no wonder his cereal tasted GROSS!

Love my sweet, sweet boys!

Snow and Sledding!

Ok, so it is officially cold in Can-of-soda (what my nieces call MN). We have a bit of snow on the ground so yesterday morning I decided to take the boys out and play. We (Tanner, Nathan, Adam, and I) got all bundled up in our snow gear and headed out. Those of you that have children know that the getting on the snow gear part takes just as long as the playing outside part! Hahaha!

We went out and ate snow in our front yard, careful to avoid the yellow stuff and then headed to the park down the road. There is a small hill there and after "showing" Nathan (me pushing him down screaming) how fun it was he was loving it :) Tanner needs no "showing" he was reading the second we were outside! He loves the snow and would stay out until everything froze off if I let him! And Adam was just happy to waddle around and eat snow.

When my toes started to go numb I knew it was time to go in. We made it to the house, which takes forever with everyone walking at waddling pace, and tuned on the fire to get all nice and cozy warm! Thank the heavens for the fireplace! :)

Keep'n it Rowley

Ok here it goes...I am going to start blogging! I know, I know hahaha! I only say this because I started a blog about 3 years ago and that poor blog has just sat there. So I have decided to take another stab at for the benefit of family and friends that wonder what us crazy Rowleys are up to :)
